So here is where it all started...........Austria (just outside Mayrhofen):
Friday 15th June 2007: the event!!
On the third attempt of the week, the opportunity arose. Quiet surroundings, no one around and Caroline 5 metres in front
of me, quiet for once and unable to run away - we were on a single-seater chairlift.
The action: I shouted in my most romantic tone - "Oi Pricey - will you marry me???"
The reply: "What? Really? Are you Joking? I'll tell you my answer at the top?"
At the top (20 minutes later): "Go on then, do it properly, get down on one knee"
The happy ending: I got down on one knee, asked her again and she said "YES!!!!"
The celebration: Apple Strudel and Ice Cream.
She said YES!!
